Garth Taylor Bennett Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Garth Taylor Bennett in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother John; his parents-in-law, Marie and Charles Clouter; and his brothers-in-law, Fred, Larry and Bruce Clouter.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret-Anne (Clouter) of Corner Brook; his daughter Stephanie; his son-in-law Chas Wells; his grandchildren, Derik and Martin of Cranbrook, BC; his daughter Raechel Bennett; his grandchildren, Morrgan, Christian and Izaac; his sister Diana Curry (late Jack); his siblings-in-law, Pam, Gerry Whelan, Brian and Elizabeth Clouter of Victoria, BC.; and also Jason Payne of Dartmouth, NS.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

When the pandemic hit and pools closed, he discovered lake swimming and in the summer of 2021, at 76, achieved his goal and became an inspiration to us all.
