He was predeceased by: his siblings, Beverly and Peter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Steven (Linda) and Cheryl (David); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Shawn), Kristen (Tim), Melanie (Ryan), Taylor (Matt) and Kyle (Trystan); and his caregiver Gary.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethany United Church (7171 Clinton Avenue, Halifax, NS B3L4G5).
In place of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
