He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Butler and Daisy Butler (Mitchell); his wife Margaret Butler; and his siblings, Glenn Butler, Norma Lubinsky and Kenneth Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Butler (Emily) and Sheri-Lynn Gehm (Stephen); his grandchildren, Breina, Jeremy, Taylor, Ashleigh Butler, Simon and Samuel Gehm; and his sister Bonnie Clattenburg (Ronald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
