He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Randall (Hughes) and George Randall; and his siblings, Jack, Graham and Lorraine.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Horne); and his children, Jennifer (Lyle) and Sean (Jamie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many extended relatives and lifelong friends.
