In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy George leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Reid (Sawlor) and Burnell Reid; and his brother Edmund Reid. He is survived by: his wife Micki; his children, Shelley Veinot (Devin) and Mark Reid; his grandchildren, Ben and Sawyer; his brother David Reid (Mary); and his sister-in-law Anne Reid. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Anglican Church (3 Dakin Dr, Halifax, NS B3M2C9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of your choice.
