Gerald Butler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Butler (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Butler and Gwendoline Butler; his stepmother Bertha; and his siblings, Hector (Isla), Max (Olive), Ray and Elizabeth (Art).

He is survived by: his children, Pamela Collier (Chris) and Paul Butler (Molly); his granddaughters, Malorie Stoddard (Adam) and Melissa MacPhail (Ian); his great grandchildren, Peyton and Carlee; his brother David (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Anne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dad's memory will be gratefully accepted by Rockingham United Church, Brunswick Street Mission, or a charity of your choice.
