Geraldine Parker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Parker (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 14, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Harold "Buddy" Parker; and her brothers, Garnet Howe, Rubin Howe, Thomas Jefferson Howe and Mitchell Howe.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Parker Halifax (Susan), Shawn Parker Halifax (Sandra), Tanya, Rosalind Oakley Halifax (Jack) and Rebecca Parker; her grandchildren, Meaghan, Matthew, Shanelle, Revae, Chase, Taryn, Jade, Desiree, Ashanti, Brittany and Tara; her great grandchildren, London, Gia, Taisen, Harlem, Karynzah, Saniyah and Zaaliyah; her siblings, Yvonne Knight Montreal (late Patrick), Ronald "Puppy" Howe Jr., Coleman Howe (Yvonne), Edith Barton (Romeo), Lloyd Howe, Brucie Howe, Gay Cohen (Alan), David Howe (June), Faye Samuels (Rick), Colleen Boone and Virginia Beach; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin "Sonny" Parker (Carol Ann) and Joan Gero. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held 1PM Friday, May 22, 2020 with Dr. Rhonda Y. Britton officiating, and a Celebration of Life and burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Building Fund of New Horizons Baptist Church, Halifax http://www.newhorizonsbaptist.ca.
