With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Frances Petite (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Dixon Dacre and Beatrice Sarah Dacre (MacKenzie); her husband Harvey Charles Petite; her daughter Jeannie; and her brother George.
She is survived by: her sister Beatrice Lockett; her children, Robert (Linda), Barbara (Barry) of Halifax, Marion (Pat) of Halifax and Kathy (David) of Halifax; her grandchildren, William, Tylor, Steven, Marcy, Severine, Isaac, Jeremy and Sam; and her niece Jan. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
