She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Thorne and Margaret E. Thorne (Marsden); her husband Stanley A. Dow; and her siblings, Priscella Thorne, Bethania Thorne, Ada Chaulk, Francis Jane Enwood, Lilia Neil and Chesley.

She is survived by: her children, Roderick Dow, Carol Dubé, Margo Dow, Susan Beazley, Truro Peter Dow, Douglas Dow and Sandra Davis; her sisters, Carmen Skinner Port (Harry), Margaret Savoury of Burnt Islands, NL and Christina Hayward of Corner Brook, NL; and her children-in-law, Heather Dow, Sadie MacLeod, Marjorie Dow, Terrance Dubé, Bill Palmer, Larry Beazley, Fred Davis and Patrick Fawson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
