She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Perks and Jean Perks (White); her husband Kenneth Evan Whitford; and her siblings, Bill, Gordon Perks and Barbara Hemphill.

She is survived by: her children, Donna of Chester, Nancy Wood (Dennis) of Mill Cove and Jamie (Deanna) of Prospect; and her grandchildren, Shaun, Zachary, Hannah Martel (Matthew) and Amanda.
