Glenda Audrey Reader Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenda Audrey Reader of Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" McCallum and Jessie McCallum; her husband Cyril; and her brother Ben. She is survived by: her children, Daniel "Dan" (Linda) of Vancouver, BC, James "Jim" (Sandy) of Lake Echo, Kathryn "Kathy" Kline of Halifax and Janet Reader of Halifax; her grandchildren, Denny, Elizabeth, Sarah, Benjamin of Laura, TJ, Andrew "Drew" and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Lemmy, Gwen, Finnick, Angie, Ethan and Aiden; and her sister Patricia "Pat" Roy (Bill). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the QEII Foundation - Palliative Care Research, the Great Cycle Challenge (riding to fight Kids' Cancer) or charity of choice.
