Gordon Francis Purcell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Francis Purcell (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 25, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Purcell; his wife Catherine Fraser; his sister Joyce Smith; and also, Uncles Arthur and Robie Purcell.

He is survived by: his parent Beatrice (Tuttle); his children, Patricia Ryan (Ray) and Clark (Judy Pound); his sister Catherine Shaw (Dave); his friend Frances Deveaux; his daughter Carol Towner; and also Ed Handler. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross, SPCA or charity of choice.
