Gordon McKay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Gordon McKay of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Témiscaming, Québec. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Gordon McKay to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris McKay (Innes) and Patrick McKay; his wife Doris Mae McKay; and his siblings, Patrick, Jr. and Carole.

He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Beth Hawes (Billy), Cathy Stephenson and Donna Brown (Brian); his stepgrandsons, Robert Stephenson and William Hawes; his great grandchildren, Sadie and Jordan Stephenson; and his pet Bob. He is also survived by his siblings, he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will take place in the spring/summer of 2022 at which time Gordie and Doris will be joined in everlasting love.

For those who wish, donations in memory of Gordie may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
