Grant James Sweet Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grant James Sweet (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 11, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank J Sweet and Elsie M Sweet (Walters); his spouse Maureen; his children, Melanie, John (Charlene) and Kathy (Frank); his stepchildren, Steven Cathy (Gary) and Kelli (Dale); his siblings, Doris Sweet, Gloria Eaton (Robert), Hadley Sweet (Carol) and Marilyn Martin (Paul); his siblings-in-law, Colleen (Gary) and Barbara (Guy); his grandchildren, Blake, Sarah, Matthew, Jacob, Jessica, Billie-Lee, Brody and Bria; and his son Stephen. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

At the family's request in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Canadian Diabetes Association.
