Hazel Mae Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2021, at the age of 103, Hazel Mae Johnson of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Cambridge Station, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Mae Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Peterson and Edna Peterson; her husband Ralph; her son David; and her siblings, Lawrence, Oren, Kenneth, Murray, Donald, Maxwell, Elsie, Helen and Gladys.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Hendsbee (Charlie); her grandchildren, John Hendsbee (Joanne) and Stephanie Crawford; her great grandchildren, Nicolas Hendsbee (Kate), Hailie Quesnelle (Mike) and Hali Crawford; her great great grandchildren, Owen Hendsbee, Henry Quesnelle and Kenyon Crawford; her daughter-in-law Valerie Quinlin; and her siblings, Floyd Peterson and Joyce Mosher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life service later this summer when COVID restrictions allow.
