She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Whitney (Ford) and Edgar Whitney. She is survived by: her husband David Blaikie; her daughters, Laura (Colin Richardson) and Kathryn (David Turnbull); her grandchildren, Madeline, Jake Richardson and Murray Turnbull; and her siblings, Fay (Alan Jones) and Dale Whitney.
A reception was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
