It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Gruchy (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles St. Clair and Esther Stayner (Mounce). She is survived by: her children, Phil (Sylvie Ouellette), Steve (Rosemary Hall), Rick (Annika Renborg) and Sally (David Sinclair); her grandchildren, Alex Polley, Sam, Daisy, Will, Libby, Erin Gruchy and Matthew Sinclair; her great grandchild Logan Polley; and her husband David W. Gruchy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint James Anglican Church (2668 Joseph Howe Dr, Halifax, NS B3L4E4).
