She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora McDermott and John McDermott; her former husband Herb Cluett; her husband Douglas Pyke Sr.; her former husband John O'Leary; her son Anthony; her siblings, Jackie Pettipas and Sharon Smith; her brother-in-law Ed Smith; and her great grandchild Ayva Goldie.
She is survived by: her sister Diane Rogers; her children, Cheryl Jones (Chris), Douglas Pyke Jr. (Michelle) and Bernice Pyke (Steve); her grandchildren, Tracey Lecky (Rob), Lisa Cloran, Kari Anderson (Andrew), Nicholas Jones, Justin Hughes, Jessica Howe (Gary), Jacob Jones, Alyssa Stallard, Kassandra Anderson and Anthony Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Myleigh, Taylor, Oliver, Sadie, Felicity, Brinleigh, Ruby, Verity and Kameron. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close family friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2B3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stella Maris Parish (6 St Michaels Ave, Halifax, NS B3P1M5).
