She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Gray and David Gray of Amherst; her husband Gordon Charles; and her son Russell Edward. She is survived by: her children, Mary Anne (Peter) and James David (Valerie); her grandchildren, Jennifer of Halifax, John David of Halifax, Shaun of Halifax and Zachary; and her great grandchild Grace.
