She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyal Cooper and Gertrude Cooper (Wells); her husband Llewellyn Searle (Lew); her siblings, Edwin Cooper of Ingonish, NS and Audrey Stephen of Victoria, BC; and her siblings-in-law, Ben, Ned, Jack Searle, John Stephen, John Gosse, Beatrice Jackman, Elsie Peddle, Daphne Byrne and Stella Gosse.

She is survived by: her children, Debra McIntyre (Glen) of Ottawa, ON, Beth Edwards (Gary) of Caledonia, NS and David (Susan Belliveau) of Halifax, NS.; her grandchildren, Taylor Robert Searle of Toronto, ON and Heather Madison McIntyre of Toronto, ON.; her sister Betty Kingsbury (Al) of Kentville, NS.; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Jackson of Sydney, NS, Betty Skanes of Cambridge, ON, Judy Noseworthy and James Searle of Brampton, ON.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
