We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2025, at the age of 95, Herbert Alfred Westlake of Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Westlake and Florence Craig; his wife Doris Westlake; and his brothers, Earl, Robert, James, George, Raymond, Ted (Clarence) and Harold.

He is survived by: his children, Judith Westlake, Michael Westlake (Karen), Kevin Westlake (Janet) and Dawnelda Bellefontaine; his sisters, Marie, Dolly Schultz (Florence), Pearl Romo and Dot MacLeod (Dorothy); and his son-in-law Kenneth Bellefontaine. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
