He was predeceased by: his wife Joan MacDougall; his parents, Ralph MacDougall and Gertrude MacDougall of Halifax, NS; his son Richard Ian MacDougall; and his siblings, Lorne, Betty, Jean, Lois, Bill and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Pavlik (Patrick) of Waterloo, ON and Heather Stanton (Bruce) of Coldwater, ON.; his grandchildren, Natalie, Julia Pavlik, Valerie and Lauren Stanton; and his sister Margie Boudreau (Cyril) of Halifax, NS.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
