It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Mary Nash (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Bay l'Argent, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pennell and Tryphena Pennell (Miles); her husband Louis Frederick; her son Gary Charles; and her sisters, Carrie Baker, Edna Taylor and Marie Hooper.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Austin (Brent) and Donna McHardy (Winston); her daughter-in-law Sandi Nash; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chistopher, Jill, Michael, Karen, David, Mark and Ryan; and her nieces, Marilyn Abramson and Jackie O'Hearon. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
