It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Isabelle (Farah) Farrah (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hanna Farah and Milia Swaid; her siblings, Yousef, Antoine Farah, Genevieve, Josephine Farah, Marie Isaac and Georgette Chakty; and her former husband Alexandre Farrah (Alec).

She is survived by: her adoptive children, Jeanne (Denis Boucher), Lisa (Maurice Youssef), Allen (Chantal Arsenault), Jean-Pierre and Lanny (Nathalie Gasse); and her sisters, Juliette Challita, Jeanne and Arc Salem. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren as well as many friends.

“My condolences to the family and friends of my dear friend Isabelle Farah. I use to visit her at the nursing home till covid hit and visiting changed but she was always in my thoughts and prayers. I will always cherish the many times I picked her up to go to church and then out to breakfast afterwards. She once told me Sunday was her favourite day of the week. I know her dear friend Wadad would be waiting to greet her when she reached the Pearly Gate.”
