It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Alys Hicks in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Jeanette Hicks, Jade Creighton and Joan Cusac; and her parents, Juanita Hicks (Chase) and Austin "Ott" Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband John Reid; her children, Jane Reid and Robert Reid (Kate); her grandchildren, Maeve Reid and Heath Reid; and her siblings, Judy Twitty, Juanita Hicks, Janice Hayes and Joseph Hicks.
