He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Doyle and Josephine Harrietha; his siblings, Lucy (Sam Lamey), Medie (Hector Boutilier), Nellie (Neil MacPhee), Betty (Samuel MacLean), Monica (Wilfred Ramsay), Mary Josephine, Edward (Nora), Leo (MaryAnne) and Jack; and his siblings-in-law, Donald (Mona), Lawrence, Howard (Catherine), Lorraine and Mary (Elio Ianetti).
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Kenny; his children, Allan (Cheryl), Mary Beth (Glenn MacDougall), Cathy (Tom Mason) and Alison; his grandchildren, Caitlin MacLeod (Ryan), Ben MacDougall (Aditi), AJ (Shannon) and Greg MacDougall (Camila); his great grandchildren, Bella and Maya; his sister Anne (late Vince Isaak); and his sister-in-law Dorothy (Albert Sumarah).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jm Jobes Funeral Home (635 Main St, Sydney Mines, NS B1V2Y4). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church.
