He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Leonard Trainor and Muriel Trainor (Healy); his brother Thomas L. (Tom); his sister-in-law Jean Trainor; and his siblings, Margaret Ann Trainor, John and Monica.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Trainor (Barrett); his grandchildren, Brian Trainor (Sofy Ayala-Trainor), Juliana, James and Oakville; his children, Jim Trainor (Andrea), Madeleine, Evan, Matthew, Lauren, Kanata, Angela Trainor (Sanjay Gopal), Sarah Greenwood (Will), Abbey, Liam and Ethan; his sister Barbara Jones (Bruce); his parents-in-law, Mary Jean Murphy (Mike) of Dartmouth, Jeff Banks of Dartmouth, Michael Caswell of Dartmouth, Patty Melanson (Bob) of Dartmouth and Jackie Mayo (Blaine) of Dartmouth; and his sister-in-law Margaret Barrett-Banks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
