It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Henry Pretty of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Melvin Pretty and Melba Page; and his parents, James Pretty and Hilda Pretty (Dee). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia (Murdock); his daughters, Lisa Pretty and Jennifer Skinner (Ryan); his grandchildren, Morgen, Olivia and Mya; and his sisters, Karen Penney (John), Janice Kean (Don) and Hilda Pretty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
