He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Cowie; his wife Rowena (Greenwood); his daughter Jo-Anne; his grandmother Ella Whalen; his brother Alfred Cowie; his son-in-law Allan Baker; his siblings-in-law, Robert Greenwood, Patrick Greenwood, Basil Greenwood, Sandra Cowie, Ethel Greenwood and Florence Greenwood; his nephews, Joey Greenwood and Patrick Greenwood; and his friend Herbert Keddy.
He is survived by: his children, Rowena Baker and Jamie (Christina); his grandchildren, Allan Patrick (Carolyn), James Patrick and Sarah Mae; his brothers, Alex Cowie (Dolly), Edward Cowie and Frank Cowie (Diane); and his siblings-in-law, Joe Greenwood (Marie) and Marie Greenwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will take place.
