Janet McDonald Alexander Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Janet McDonald Alexander (Halifax, Nova Scotia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Joseph and Gwendolyn; her brother Frank Black; and her husband Richard William Alexander. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Alexander (James Campbell) and Lucy Alexander (Gilberto Gangarossa); her brothers, Laurence Black (Janice) and John Black (Donna); and her grandchildren, William and Catherine Campbell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Janet was key member of a small team of dedicated medical professionals and caregivers that established the first Nova Scotia chapter of the Alzheimer Society.
