She is survived by: her husband Gerald Power; her children, Tony (Jocelyn), Scott (Jacey) and Melanie; her siblings, Clarence, Janice and Doreen; her grandchildren, Peyton and Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Skylie, Zaiden, Sofia and Mason.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J Albert Walker Funeral Home (149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P 1K6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her honor.
