He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Smith; his grandparents, Lawrence Sr., Jacqueline Robertson, Gerald Sr. and Rose Smith; and his aunts and uncles, Terrance Robertson (Letti), Jack Robertson (Maureen), David "Phonse" Robertson (Doreen), Lawrence Jr., Jacqueline Robertson, Donald, Sandra Robertson and Trudy Newcombe (Marty).
He is survived by: his father Gerald Smith; his sister Jenna MacAulay (John); his niece Rebecca-Rose MacAulay; and his aunts and uncles, George Smith, Allan Robertson (Marg), Joan Krombholz (Klaus) and Debbie Kokoski.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).
