He was predeceased by: his parents, Christene MacNeil and John A. MacNeil; his wife Mary (MacDonald); and his brothers, Angus, Frank, Alec and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughter Joan (Rick); his grandchildren, Ryan and Lawren; his sister Isabel; his sisters-in-law, Beatrice MacDonald (New Waterford) and Mary MacDonald of Victoria, BC; and his cousin Isabel MacDonald of Portland, OR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
