She is survived by: her sister Anne Marie (Maureen) of Montreal; her cousins, Maureen Williams (Scott), Antigonish, Bernadette Romanousky, River John, Patricia O'Neil, Fran (Steve Baldner), Martha and Cathy; her sister-in-law Norma; her niece Mary Trinkler; and her friend Solange Dube.
As a young woman, Marie entered the Sisters of Charity of Halifax and was known as Sister Anne Bernadette.
