She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Reynolds and Joseph Reynolds; her brother Allen; and her grandchildren, George and Hannah.
She is survived by: her significant other Harold Walker; her sister Nancy (Tom); her children, Dan (Darlene), Patricia and Cynthia; her stepson Jason; and her grandchildren, Emily (Scott), Stephanie (Aaron), Julia, Samuel, Annika and Tricia. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Legion (50 Hillcrest St, Halifax, NS B3N2X5).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Joan's memory are invited to consider a donation to Canadian Cancer Society or The Royal Canadian Legion Fairview #142.
