She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Kean of Newfoundland and Audrey Kean of Newfoundland. She is survived by: her friend Kim Schmidt of Reedville; her husband Les Howie; her sons, Andrew and Adrian; her siblings, John Kean and Ruby Parson (Kean); and her niece Kathryn Kean.
