She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Glode (Paul) and Frank Glode; her close friend Bob; her daughter Darcy Glode; her grandchildren, Jonah, Pierce, Felicity and Thaddeus; her sisters, Anne Neil and Mary LeRue Halifax (Gordon); her nephew Jerry LeRue (Holly); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley and Kayla; her nephew Terry LeRue (Lisa); her great-nephews, Ethan and Lucas; and her brother Kenneth.
She was acknowledged with this honor in recognition of her many contributions to the well being of Aboriginal children and families in Canada and around the world.
