She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde McGrath; her parents, Reverend Henry and Elizabeth Hancox; and her son Patrick Darcy. She is survived by: her children, Carol (David), Mary (Gary) and Shawn (Linda). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
