With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johanna Denhertog of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoon Bakker and Helena Bakker; her sisters, Helena Bakker, Leny, Maria and Theresa; her husband Adrian; her granddaughter Joanna Perkins; her son-in-law Ed Perkins; her brother-in-law Charles Dill; and her nephews, Peter Dill and Nick Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Hendrika Brown (Eric), Patricia Perkins (Ed) and William Denhertog (Elaine Francis); her grandchildren, Michael Brown (Heather), David Perkins, Alison Perkins and Ben Perkins; her great grandchildren, MacKenzie Brown, Kaydance Perkins and Landen Perkins; and her nieces, Joanne Steadman, Charlene Graves and Maria Kennie.
