He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanc Wamboldt and Stanford Wamboldt; his stepfather Henry Clattenburg; and his sister Margorie Publicover. He is survived by: his wife Marie Wamboldt (Mansfield); his daughter Grace Wamboldt; his brother Wayne Wamboldt (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Vivian Wamboldt and Michael Wamboldt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
