It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Brian Sharples of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sharples and Freda Sharples (Chriss); and his siblings, James and Frances of England. He is survived by: his wife Laura (Kinney); his children, Selwyn, Emily Carman (Paul) and Rosemary Putnam (Mark); his grandchildren, Logan, Thian, Meadow Carman, John-Mark, Cedar, Jesse, Shepard and Zoe Putnam; his sister Susan Rodgers (Mike); and his nephews, Richard and Nicholas Sharples of England.
