He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick W. Carew and Annie B. Carew (MacDonald); his wife Rebecca (Ferguson); and his siblings, Catherine Farrell (Kenny), William F. and Matthias.
He is survived by: his children, George (Susan), Stratford, Dr. Dan (Jacqueline), Whitehorse and Murlane; his granddaughter Genevieve Stack (Jere); his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Ella Stack of Chantilly, VA; his sister-in-law Margaret E. (William); and his friend Darlene Lund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
