He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Murphy; and his parents, Clarence Murphy and Maude Murphy of Charlottetown, PEI.. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Forgeron; his children, Susan Smith (Paul Smith) of Bedford, Debbie Murphy of Bedford, John Murphy (Sheri Murphy) of Middle Sackville and Matthew Murphy (Laura Oxenham-Murphy) of Toronto; his stepdaughters, Brittany MacNeil (Jeff MacNeil) of Halifax and Bridget MacIntyre of Halifax; and his grandchildren, Justin Kelsie, Ben, Hannah Smith and James Murphy.
