He was predeceased by : his parents, Katherine Oliver (Tait) and Edwin Oliver; his sister-in-law Lisa Morrow DeCoste (Reggie); his parents-in-law, Hamilton and Abbie Morrow; his brother-in-law David Morrow; and his nephews, Peter Dickson and Scott Morrow.

He is survived by : his wife Connie (Morrow); his son Matthew (Diana); his grandchildren, Madeline and Caden; his sister Helen Dickson (Vance); his nephews, Rob (Rhonda), Michael (Debbie) and Nicholas (Heather); his brothers-in-law, Roland Morrow (Liz) and Terrance Morrow (Pam); and his nephew Greg (Suzanne).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9).
