With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John George Nikolaou of Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Maria Nikolaou and George Nikolaou (Kato Vasiliki); his brothers, Panagiotis and Vasilis; and his daughter Maria.

He is survived by : his wife Panorea; his children, George, Bessy (Carman) and Billy (Stella); and his granddaughters, Ariana and Yianna.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ja Snows Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St Georges Greek Orthodox Church (1146 Purcells Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3N1R4).
