He was predeceased by: his parent John William; and his siblings, Frank, Patrick, Michael, Edward, Rose, Ann, Margaret and Nora.
He is survived by: his parent Ann Burke (Ryan); his wife Theresa of Truro; his children, Marjorie O'Brien (Keith) and Kelly Burke (Rhonda MacDonald); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Hay (Renny Gunawan), Cavin Hay, Christa Hay (John Amodeo) and Katelyn Burke; and his great grandchildren, Enrique of Ontario, Connor of Ontario and Emily of Ontario.
