It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McKinnon (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll McKinnon and Laura McKinnon (MacDonald); his sister Jean; and his brother-in-law Phillip Crawley. He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Ryan (Bruce) of Cornerbrook, NL, Tanya (John Vanderheide), Queensland, Shannon (Allyson), Darren (Rhea Skei) and Surrey B. C.; his grandchildren, Paige (Darcy), Taylor (Jamie), Brayden (Peyton), Brandon, Haley, Christina, Mitchell, Iyla, Liam and Callum; his great grandchild Taran; and his siblings, Carol Crawley, Sydney, Ruby Chisholm of Quispamsis, N. B., Michael, Leo (Gail) and Linwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a Celebration of life for John will be held at a later date.
