It is with sadness that the passing of John Richard Adams (Halifax, Nova Scotia) is shared. John, born on November 23, 1944, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Gloria Adams (Turner); and his siblings, Gloria (Jeannie), Sandra Donaldson, Lillian Symonds (Tottie), Marlene Patterson, Derrick (Louie), Clinton and Milton (Butchie).

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Adams (Jewell); his children, Quenta Lake Loon (Curtis), Jenna, Dino (Elaine) of Halifax, Milo of Halifax and Malik (Robin) of Halifax; his siblings, Nolan of Dartmouth, Perry (Leslie) of Dartmouth, Carla Dartmouth (Garry), Teena, Hamilton, Paula and Sherry; his friends, Ken Crawford Q. C., Edmund Morris, Graham Downey, Lt. Governor Mike Savage, Quebec Premier Jean Charest, Scott Brison and Andy Fillmore; his family, Dr. Wayne Adams, African Nova Scotian and Tony Ince; and his caregivers, Makenzie and Michael. He is also survived by grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Bubby has requested donations to New Horizons Baptist Church.
