He is survived by: his children, Karen Burgoyne (Mark), Kelly Gillis (Greg) of Cape Breton and Jamie Forsyth (Jennifer Upsdell) of British Columbia; his sisters, Doreen Strachan (Ken) of Alberta and Mary Umlah (Harold) of Alberta; his grandchildren, Ardley of Halifax, Rhiannon Forsyth of British Columbia, Leah and Lindsay Burgoyne; and his son Basil. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
