He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Schmeisser-Grandy and Mary Schmeisser-Grandy (Fitzgerald); his son Joseph; his brothers, Jack, Billy and Tom; his parents-in-law, George and Kay Leaman; his brother-in-law Cyril; and his niece Tammy.
He is survived by: his wife Stella; his daughter Katie; and his siblings, Jim, Paul, Lloyd, Cecilia, Marion, Susan and Georgina.
Due to Covid, only 50 people permitted at the funeral home, but 150 are permitted at the gravesite.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
